Information we process

We process your account identifier, sign-in name and email, selected photos and videos, filenames, media dimensions and timestamps, captions, favorites, album organization, storage usage and Apple subscription status. Media may contain metadata embedded by your device. We do not receive card details or UPI credentials from Apple.

Purpose and processors

We use this information to authenticate your account, store and display your library, enforce storage limits, verify subscriptions, answer support requests and protect the service. Google Firebase processes identity and database records. New selected media is stored in private Cloudflare R2 object storage. Older uploads remain with the previous external storage provider until migration and erasure are completed. Apple processes sign-in and App Store purchases. We do not sell your media or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Storage and protection

Transfers use HTTPS. Library metadata is scoped to your Firebase account. Private media access is authorized by the EverPhotos server for your account through temporary signed links. R2 access credentials remain on the server. This is not end-to-end encryption. Storage region and applicable processor transfers depend on our deployed infrastructure; contact support for details.

Retention and deletion

We retain your account and library while you use the service. Moving an item to Trash is reversible. Permanent deletion erases the private original, thumbnail, library record and album references. Account deletion erases private storage and Firebase account records and authentication. Older external-provider copies require migration and erasure before complete account deletion. Apple sign-in token revocation requires configured server credentials. Device originals remain on your phone. Older provider files require migration or support-assisted erasure before complete deletion. Temporary upload copies are removed after completion; interrupted transfers may leave copies until retry or cleanup. Legal obligations may require separately retaining financial or support records; contact support for applicable retention details.

Your choices

You control photo selection and permissions in iOS Settings. Notification permission is optional. You may request access, correction, export or deletion through support, with identity verification where needed. If applicable, you may complain to your data protection authority.
